Eve of Destruction - Barry McGuire

"Eve of Destruction" was written my P.F. Sloan, who was latter a founding member of the Grass Roots, in mid-1964. The Turtles recorded it on their debut album early in 1965. The Turtles did not release it as a single unto 1970, just before they broke up. Barry McGuire recorded it in July of 1965, and it became a #1 hit. Politicians of today refuse to learn from history. This song is dedicated to them.
