Who's To Blame

Who’s To Blame - Keith Birmingham
Copyright, November 8, 2014

He’s to blame for lower wages.
She’s to blame for higher taxes.
They’re to blame for spending money,
That we have not earned.

Wars are base on a religion.
Funded by big corporations.
People dying of starvation.
As we ponder who’s to blame.

He says we don’t need a border.
She says please oh please protect us.
Women murdered, children raped.
Meanwhile bills are left unpaid.

Countries don’t just ask us for help.
They demand that we pay their debts.
We can’t even find employment.
Meanwhile we must save the world.

Don’t you think it’s time to tell them
That they’re failing at their jobs.
Put the blame where it belongs.
Kick them out, and send them home.

Don’t you think it’s time we stood up.
Help ourselves and our brothers.
Don’t depend upon another.
Make your own life. Show some pride.

He’s to blame for lower wages.
She’s to blame for higher taxes.
And, we listen to their lies,
As we ponder who’s to blame.
