OK, so here is why I think my biggest hope for succeeding in the music business is as a songwriter/lyricist:

1.) I am to old, fat, ugly, can barely play the guitar, and can't sing worth a damn.

Now, here are the excuses:

1.) I am retired, and living on a pension.

2.) I have only the minimal equipment for playing. That is, I own only an acoustic/electric guitar, and amp.

3.) My recording equipment consist of free software off of the internet, and my computer.

But, even if I never sell anything, I am enjoying what I am doing. However, I will not give up trying. And, I will do the best I can with what I have.
