Father of the Bride

Kenneth Londagin

Truethfully, I do not remember whether this was taken on the day of his daughter's wedding. It could have been taken the day before, when he was the bridegroom. But, he's happy.

Runnin' on Empty

Adding Fuel
**********
Like any truck, the driver also needs to stop periodically to refuel. And, that is where I am at. Except, it will take more than a short rest stop and a meal to get refueled and ready to go. I have had to make some decisions that I do not like, but these things must be done. Otherwise, my health will soon stop me from doing anything. For awhile my blog posts will be few and, probably, far between. My free time will be spent resting or doing photography. I will spend little time working at the computer, writing or even editing photos. My short time goal is to get some much needed rest. My long time goal is to get more equipment, get out of these trucks for good (not necessarily to get completely away from them), and then start full time work as a photographer/writer. So, for the next couple of months, like I said, my post will be few and far between.

I will be doing research to see if anyone can/will tell me what I can do to make these sites (and others that are planned) commercial.
I am now adding affiliates to my blogs. My next move will be to start advertising the sites on search engines.

Adding Affiliates

As of June 5, 2009 I have started adding affiliates to blogs. The affiliates are chosen based on their usefulness to my prospective clients. I plan to add 8 to 12 affiliates.

Starting To Go Commercial: http://ping.fm/Q6Rj4

Starting to Go Commercial

Commercial links are now being placed on all of my blogs, and on HKB Photo. I am now on the LinkShare affiliate program. I believe that I will try to maintain my blogs with 8-12 affiliate buttons/banners at a time. All of my affiliates are chosen according to whether they would be prime sites for the person who spends a great deal of their time traveling. Trucks * Truckers * Trucking will, of course have buttons/banners that target those who make a living in the transportation industry. HKB PhotoBlog will, I hope, have buttons/banners chosen specifically for photographers. Keith Birmingham may end up having the most buttons/banners. It will target a broader audience of shoppers, mainly families. And, HKB Photo, will have buttons/banners for those people with professions in the publications, advertising, entertainment, and photography professions.
