My name is Keith Birmingham. I click as a photographer, journalist, blogger, and writer. I busk as a musician, singer, and songwriter. I travel as a photographer, journalist, blogger, writer, musician, singer, and songwriter. I'm not trying to do it all. I'm just trying to enjoy my life.
Mission and Photo Shoot Pricing
My only mission is to make you and I both happy.
Lease pricing for publication is determined by industry standards and factors involved in the production of the artwork and it's intended use. My pricing is based on calculations used by Cradoc foto Software.
For local assignment work there is a minimum charge of $160 for a 4-hour minimum shoot, travel expenses not included. Terms beyond the 4-hour limit should be worked out before shooting begins and will depend on the amount of expected "post-shoot" time and expenses involved. Clients must furnish costumes, props and all items necessary for the shoot beyond standard photo gear. Terms for specialized equipment must be negotiated before use.
BWP works in small venue events for "PERSONAL" use. I do not shoot weddings. Clients are given access to my online studio to purchase non-commercial use prints, or to download the photos they desire. Because of the many variables "COMMERCIAL" needs for contract work and use must be negotiated at the time of booking the event. Or, contact me to learn about my commercial use stock sites.
For every hour that a photographer bills and spends with their clients, they will spend 3 or more hours in pre-shoot and/or post-shoot operations. Please consider that I operate a business, and must meet all of the financial obligations of running that business.
Goals For The Future
Goals For The Future
My goal is to find employers and sponsors to financially support my van life and RV travel by producing products in music, photography, travel, and writing to fit their needs.
Better World Media is the corporate name for a combination of 4 (and growing) businesses in music, photography, travel, and writing.
The Music of BWM is in multiple genres due to a variety of audiences I encounter. I plan to perform at senior centers during my travels. I perform cover tunes in the classic rock, blues, folk, classic country, gospel, patriot. Themes for my original tunes tend to deal with aging, travel, romance, trucking, work and life itself.
My photography and journalism work is primarily produced for event and travel editorial work. My current specialty project is shooting community parks. I like to go the extra mile when shooting at events where photographers should not be noticed, such as street entertainment and open mic nights.
I write about travel because I travel to enable me to perform my music and photograph the places and cultures I visit.
