I Am Me - Like it or leave it.
I am beginning to believe that God is always talking to me. Maybe "talking" is the wrong word to use. But, it is the best way to describe it. On a number of occasions I have tried to separate my businesses into segments according to particular interest. The only thing I ever accomplish is mental tension and physical exhaustion. And, I have done it again. And, God has told me, once again, to sit down, shut up, and listen to him. Being in the navy (Or was it just part of growing up?) taught me to never give up, and never give in. I still believe in that, but I also believe that you cannot be so danged foolish as to not look for a better way of doing things. My life, my family, my businesses, my politics, my hobbies, and every little thing I do are married to me. They define me. I have always been comfortable with that fact, but I seem to have a tendency to want other people to think that each piece (me, father, profession, political beliefs, personal pleasures) of the puzzle is a different person. But, they are all the same.
So, once again I am putting the puzzle back together. It will be easier for me, but some of those who follow, visit or check in with me sometimes may give up and go away for good. After all, it does go against the business principle of keeping your personal life out of your professional life. But, it is all me. I am merging my personal, photographic, musical, trucking, and travel life into this "1" blog, thus wiping out about 3/4 of the hassles of trying to do something on the internet. I am refocusing my music in the direction I think fits my lifestyle, and moving away from trying to please everyone with my music. My trucking and travel blogs and life will just need to adjust to me, instead of me adjusting to them.
Like it or leave it. I hope you choose to stay with me.
